As a faculty or staff member, you will use several online systems to complete different types of graduate education processes, stay up-to-date with graduate education developments, or reference graduate education data.
For tips on using systems managed by the Graduate School, visit the Graduate Education Faculty/Staff Resource Portal.
Graduate Program Management System (GPMS)
GPMS is a foundational system for Penn State graduate education. It has a public view that lets anyone view all Penn State graduate programs and their primary contact. Faculty and staff with the right level of access can manage their affiliated faculty and staff members. The Graduate School uses this information to identify the appropriate individuals to communicate with about updates to procedures and other important announcements.
Graduate Admissions Decision System Admissions (GRADS)
GRADS is a one-stop shop that program faculty and staff and the Graduate Enrollment Services team use to manage everything related to graduate education admissions.
LionPATH
LionPATH is the official student information system for Penn State and it has dozens of functions for various records management processes. There are several key ways that you will use this system for managing the records of graduate students throughout their graduate education journeys.
CourseLeaf Curriculum Inventory Management (CIM)
CIM is the University system for managing course and program proposals.
Graduate Awards Tracking System (GRATS)
GRATS is used for tracking the major Graduate School recruitment award programs.
Starfish
Starfish is a suite of academic advising tools integrated with LionPATH, and the Graduate School has customized this to support the needs of graduate students.
